Abigail Mize is a dual-registered cardiovascular sonographer with a special interest in peripheral vascular intervention. She previously worked as a cardiac and vascular sonographer for several hospital systems over the course of 8 years, and most recently at ACV Centers in Grand Rapids, MI where she worked full time as a vascular interventional sonographer, assisting physicians in the peripheral intervention suite utilizing advanced vascular ultrasound-guided techniques. She currently works as the lead Clinical Research Coordinator at ACV Centers where she coordinates 5 clinical trials, including 4 IDE trials, all specializing in peripheral artery disease and critical limb threatening ischemia. Her experience and passion in vascular ultrasound takes her around the country teaching sonographers and physicians the utilization of ultrasound in the cath lab and intervention suite for tibiopedal access and advanced ultrasound-guided techniques.
